Truth Made Known

Chapter Two

People conceal themselves and masquerade in order to be socially accepted and likable. All personas (veils) shall be removed and truth shall be revealed.

1 Oh, Humanity, why do you cover yourselves with veils and discriminate amongst yourselves according to your clothes and skin? Oh, the Peoples, why are you so obsessed with the petty and superficial?

2 Are you so foolish that you do not recognize what truly matters, so blind that you cannot see the tree of life? Do you not concern yourselves with the significant and invaluable?

3 Truly, the messengers have said of you the truth: They judge their persons by what they see on them, by the garments with which they decorate themselves, and the hair which they grow on them. Verily, you judge according to veils and deceptive carnal beauty.

4 Certainly, at the Reckoning, the Judge shall strip you naked and lay you bare, and you shall be uncovered before all without cloth or skin (and no one will claim, "It is by my beauty that I have been rewarded!" or "For my ugliness have I been slain!"), and all shall see you as you are for real.

5 Oh, Righteous, rejoice ye in your uncovering, and unite yourselves with your fellows.

6 Oh, Wicked, be ashamed in your exposure, and taste the poison of your deeds.

7 Cover not yourselves with veils, masquerade not as saints when you are not, but rather, be your real self.
